hey dave i live in pa and we kayak yr round (except when the rivers are frozen) when its cold i wear a drytop and neoprene shorts maybe splash pants (35-40 degrees) when i go creeking and its really cold or the possability of swiming i wear a drysuit but i useally dont like to go out when its below 20 as ice forms on your gear an things get a little unsafe.general rule allways dress for a swim if air an water temp don't add up to 120 wear all you have! an take lessons an get proper training from experts
