I am a Certified Massage Therapist, currently working in the SF Bay area . And would like to barter my services as a CMT for a quality, sea or touring kayak In excellent, seaworthy condition. Watertight storage areas required. NOT Whitewater or "sit on top" kayak styles. I would be using it for the bay, ocean & lake use, yet prefer moderate kayak lenths of @ 12'-15', with good tracking, stability & maneuverability. I am smaller framed 5'5", 130 lbs. And would be using the kayak for day and multiday tripping and exploring @ the SF Bay area, ocean, lakes, etc. And would be bring camera, camera gear, food, water, etc. Something like Necky Zoar Sport,Looksha sport,etc. would be good. A little about my massage practice - The main modalities that I am trained & certified in and offer are - Swedish Massage Deep Tissue Thai Massage Reflexology Massage On-Site Chair & Table Massage Reiki Pranic Healing. I am also a Wuji & Tai-Chi, Wuji Qigong & Yiquan practitioner since 1989, which I offer excercises from as a self-care supplement to bodywork. In addition to serving private individuals in the greater SF Bay area, I have provided massage to - * Professional, international triatheletes at Escape from Alcatraz Triathalon in 2005. * To dancers, musicians & instructors at Kosmos Dance Camp in Saratoga Springs, June 2-5, 2005. * Provide chair massage at Whole Foods in Berkeley, since Nov 2004. * To staff at Neocork Technologies in Napa, Ca. since Nov 04. * Provided chair massage to passengers and crew on Amtrak trains during Rider Appreciation days Feb 04 & 05. - among other clients. Barter would be a straight trade for value of my services ($60 / 1 hr, $90 / 1.5 hr / $120 / 2hrs. + on-site fee of $20-$50 depending on location) for agreed upon value of specific kayak (and any gear) bartered for.
